Four topics of the "212 Project" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences passed the acceptance

The "212 Project" is a key deployment project of the "12th Five-Year Plan" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and is also one of the "135" key breakthrough projects of the Shenyang Institute of Automation. In December 2015, staff of the Shenyang Institute of Automation carried out a sea trial of the project. The experiment lasted for a total of 180 days. From June 22 to December 21, there were 21 units and 101 people successively. Participation, a total of 5042 person-days, completed the contents of the outline of the sea trial, and successfully achieved the purpose of the test, and achieved relatively satisfactory results. A number of key technologies, such as the integrated hydrodynamic design of the wing body fusion and hybrid propulsion of submerged power and oil, have been breakthroughs and verifications. Some key technologies have achieved zero breakthroughs.

At the time of the sea trial, all the participants felt intense heat and cold. They continued to suffer from high-intensity, fast-paced work pressure and long-term separation from their families but never complained. Due to the technical difficulty and the tight cycle of the project, in order to guarantee the progress of the project, the test team had almost no days off during the 6-month field test. Working overtime and working late into the night became even conscious and routine, especially in the early morning. During the “212 Project” offshore trial, he received cordial attention and condolences from the leaders of the hospital and all levels. The efforts made were not in vain. At the acceptance meeting, the expert group heard the report of the research team. After consulting the data, on-site testing, and expert inquiries, the four projects under the “212 Project” passed the acceptance. The expert group unanimously believed that each topic completed the research content stipulated in the mission statement, broke through key key technologies, and made important progress in the research of certain key technologies, and achieved the requirements specified in the mission statement. The acceptance of the four topics completed by this acceptance will lay the foundation for the final acceptance of the “212 Project”.
